Akira Toriyama, one of the most famous and influential mangaka of all time, has died. He was 68.
The news was confirmed by the official Dragon Ball website, in a letter addressed to creatives and fans across the world. Toriyama passed away a week ago on March 1, 2024, from an acute subdural hematoma.

Yes. DragonBall. Them DBZ. Then Super. It is a pretty good series through the Cell Saga, but it gets a bit silly during the Buu saga. It is still more entertaining than anything on Disney.
Just as a warning, sometimes the popups are pretty sexually explicit because they are advertising Hentai. But it is dealt with because I hit the Xthe moment it starts to appear. I don’t know how well adblockers work.
I haven't seen any of that on Hulu.
Just the usual annoying commercials: insurance, laundry detergent, cars, etc.

I first learned his name back when I was a kid and a game that he did the artwork for that was going to be on the cover of “Game Informer magazine” ended up being denied because they did not want his artwork on the cover and it caused a controversy. The game was called “Chrono Trigger.” I can see the similarity of the artwork and character designs to the Dragon Ball characters.
His first game that I’m aware of is Dragonwarrior I.
