Since Nancy Pelosi has set the precedent that it is acceptable to tear up the SOTU address, I hope that Speaker Johnson does the same.
I don’t remember any democrats saying that Pelosi’s insulting and disrespectful actions were inappropriate, so I am sure the democrats will be ok with Johnson doing the same.
Pelosi set the precendent, I just hope that Johnson follows her lead and gives Biden the same respect the democrats gave President Trump!

He will pass up any similar antics and leave them to the bitchiest speaker of the house. Nancy Pelosi is a horrible person and she displayed her pettiness and lack of decorum for all to see.
That tearing up of the SOTU speech can’t be unseen, as is the stumble dive of another wretched hag, Hillary Clinton , being thrown into the SUV!
I thought about this while I was watching the SOTU address(this was before I fell asleep). Johnson seemed to be very controlled & much too much of a gentleman to do such a thing. However, I can easily see where he would have been justified. That speech was a loser(what I heard of it), but Katie Britt did an excellent rebuttal.
