Since Nancy Pelosi has set the precedent that it is acceptable to tear up the SOTU address, I hope that Speaker Johnson does the same.
I don’t remember any democrats saying that Pelosi’s insulting and disrespectful actions were inappropriate, so I am sure the democrats will be ok with Johnson doing the same.
Pelosi set the precendent, I just hope that Johnson follows her lead and gives Biden the same respect the democrats gave President Trump!
I believe there is a way to do both, there is no need to be an A-hole on national TV like Nancy Pelosi was, but when it comes legislation, committee investigations and congressional oversight by all means be a real bastard.

Trump will be doing a simulcast “rebuttal” of the SOTU address while it is in progress. I doubt any dying media networks will cover it but you can probably find a live feed on Rumble (such as RSBN network).
