There’s an additional level of insanity that will happen with this, beyond the obvious replay of the mid-2000s housing bubble. Because of California’s insane laws regarding eviction, many of these people will “buy” a big beautiful house essentially for free, and then they can become squatters and it will take years to evict them.

This one of the reasons I have no problem with conservatives sucking every bit they can from the system. Get all the benefits you can but vote conservative.
