Some four years ago, the radical left staged what amounted to a coup d’état and took control of the United States government. The events surrounding that coup — and the horrific policies that followed — have been described many times: the COVID “vaccine” hoax, rigged elections, imprisoning dissenters, weaponizing the Judiciary, open borders, the pointless killing in Ukraine. Yet no one has explained why all this happened or how to stop it.
The fact that no scholars or media have even attempted to explain this power-grab itself partly reveals the explanation. If we ask why people on the left took power, then eventually someone will ask why people on the right allowed it to. The next logical question then arises: why should we continue listening to them, following them, giving them money...?
Preaching to the converted and hurling anathemas at the left can accomplish only so much, and yet this is what we the politicians, pundits, and parlor intellectuals of the professional right mostly do. If we want to extricate ourselves from this debacle, we must start examining what the right — and the rest of us — are doing wrong.
Failure of the Right
The conservatives’ defeat is so glaring that some are finally acknowledging what to everyone else is obvious. “The establishment Right’s failures over the last generations have been manifold,” writes one, belatedly:
Since the end of the Cold War, what trajectory-altering successes or victories can the Right cite to demonstrate its worth? ... Despite spending billions of dollars supporting its infrastructure ... the establishment Right has registered no clear gains and many clear losses.
“You could even argue that it abetted most of it[s defeats],” another suggests. “Where official conservatism’s opposition hasn’t been ineffectual, it’s been collaborationist.”

It’s also those who the author pegs as the establishment right. We’ve had a lot of self described conservatives in Congress who talk a big game but end up doing nothing when things are on the line. The House Freedom Caucus comes to mind. Establishment conservatives are just as bad as any RINO! Almost every elected Republican is a RINO or an establishment conservative. It means they’re all owned and compromised by Deep State Inc. They have failed us miserably. This is why a non-ideologue like Trump is embraced by the rank and file of the GOP.

I recall saying the Lord’s Prayer every morning at school. I believe it was the godless Left that brought forth the “separation clause” and pushed God out of our public schools. Could the Right have fought it and won?
The DemocRATS keeps winning because they are ORGANIZED and united in one main goal, gaining POWER. They are always planning, scheming, and thinking of ways to game the system. Modifying obscure election laws, inventing new ways of ballot harvesting, putting operatives in positions of power, etc. Republicans are oblivious to this, and even after they get their azzes handed to them, they take no action. They have NO PLANS, NO Strategy, make NO effort to counter what the Dems are doing. It’s been over 3 years since the last election was lost to shady/criminal RAT tactics. What have the Repubs done to change this? NOTHING. They have NO plan to win the next election, they’ve made NO effort to counter the RAT advantages that have been put in place. Guess what, it’s too late to start now. We are facing the most critical election in the nation’s history, and the Republican party is as useless as a bunch of cats hitched to a dogsled.
Lately I’ve been harping on the notion that government at every level needs a mechanism to monitor and enforce fidelity to the Constitution as a way to prevent agitators from holding public office or voting.
For example, no one in good concience can take the oath on the one hand, and advocate for abortion on the other. Weed them out at the root. No public office and no voting for turds that would swim in our punch bowl.
Well, the GOP does argue over purity.

A nation may overcome adversity, and affliction, but the final test is that of affluence. In the context of an unprecedented high standard of living, the decline of living, evangelical faith is corespondent with the moral decline of the culture, the voting of which reveals what they believe is a priority.
While evangelicals have long professed to be the most conservative major voting block (voting 74% to 80% GOP for decades in presidential elections), yet they largely lost their own young - and (as with Catholics) embraced contraception thus having less of them - as well as overall not effectually engaging those without, and with many preaching a gospel of salvation by ineffectual, non-Abrahamic faith.
What does the man on the street in most localities personally encounter that evidences that someone cares for their soul, and opposes sin, aside from cults?
In addition, to varying degrees and scope, the masses overall increasingly have rejected both the innate moral sense as well as the express word of God, running after idols of the heart and media and politics. Thus, the nation that once professed to be "one nation under God" increasingly becomes on nation under satan, as the United States of Sodom.
Due to the above, every generation since (add year here _______) has been the most Biblically ignorant and morally confused and immoral that America has ever raised. And increasingly lacking the basic attributes of reliable, faithful, industrious character which every nation must have to endure.
And along with the rise of mass media, of increasingly pervasive purveyors of persuasive, perversions of what God ordained, promoting Wokeducation and conformity and persecution of moral dissidents. then the decline of the nation has been hastened.
Yet it is the very thing that the church sought to escape, that of persecution, is what has become necessary to purge and purify it to a potent force thru a distinctive remnant, as judgment must begin at the house of God. (1 Peter 4:17; Ezekiel 9:3-6)
Meanwhile, the USA itself will realize chastisement via an increasing cohorts of enemies within and without.

The only people to blame for poverty nowadays are the people who caused it: themselves.
The people to blame for fatherless families are the fathers and mothers who copulated and then effectively abandoned their offspring by failing to raise them in an intact household to become God-fearing, independent and productive.
The Rats, misguided or sinister (or both) in trying to solve this essentially moral problem by subsidizing it, are secondarily to blame, but really not the source of the problem.
Next all the social problems arose: the drugs, alcoholism, violent crime, the vote buying, the corruption of misspent funds to politicos here and abroad, and on and on .. ALL of that derives from the dependency of the poor.
The absolute LAST people you should blame are the conservatives. They were quietly minding their own business, going to work and to church, paying their taxes.
They were drawn into this mess voluntarily as charitable individuals, or involuntarily as overtaxed and abused citizens, trying to help the underclass.
Conservatives are clearly not to be blamed for the original mess.
But this author blames us for somehow being unable to correct the laziness, evil tendencies and worthlessness of the underclass, and the venality and corruptibility of the Rat class who manage them.
I say bullsh*t.

Agreed. IMHO the roots of communism began with the belief in Unitarianism (that Jesus isn't divine and God is not a Trinity). Once that became in vogue among the wealthy in the west, Karl Marx's Liberation Theology became more attractive and was the next step downward.

Liberation Theology is based on Marx's dividing up everybody between the have's and the have not's, with the have's always evil and the have not's always the heroes and should be in charge (by having government more involved in our lives so evil capitalism can't control us, at least as Marx put it). Marx both hated religion when it suited him, and loved it when he could use it to push Marxism. So in Liberation Theology, Jesus is redefined as being just a poor member of the have not's Who was never divine -- the kind of person who would embrace more government to protect the poor.
I read something yesterday here on FR that the young people of today are turning more conservative that their parents through youthful rebellion. I can only hope that they can somehow make a difference eventually. I don’t know if it will happen, but one can hope ….

ANY good and decent “thing” will eventually draw snakes and rats, who will come wearing sheep’s clothing and spend all the time they need to worm their way in and undermine until they have full control. Then they will bleed it dry for their own furtherance.

That’s right. Ever since Wilson and his progressive agenda with the 16th through 19th amendments, we have slidden into this heavy government handiness.
