The whole piece is a huge Russian propaganda lie, since nothing about NATO can justify Vlad the Invader's "special military operations" in Ukraine or anywhere else.
Vlad the Invader's claims that he can use NATO expansions, whether real or imaginary, as his pretexts for invading Russia's neighbors, that's pure insanity and will be resisted by every neighbor who doesn't want to be a part of Vlad's "Russkiy Mir".
And, as it turns out, there are no neighbors of Russia who do want to be part of "mother Russia" -- regardless of what these guys think of it.
It's one reason why we have NATO.
