It won’t happen, but it would be great if all white owners in the NBA sold to black ownership, all white coaches replaced with black coaches, and all white players replaced with black players. The failure of the league would be epic!
This is nothing new. Kermit Washington clocked Rudy Tomjanovich decades ago, breaking his jaw and Isiah Thomas once said that if Larry Bird was black he’d just be considered another basketball player…
The white players are not thoroughbreds
You get punched? Punch back. Or alternatively kick him in the balls.
There are talented white players in high school who choose not to play. That is for many years when a HS basketball squad becomes majority black, white players often become slighted, made to feel they don’t belong and discriminated against in subtle ways.
“She’s going to face a level of racism from black players, and she’s going to face a level of hostility from lesbian players because she’s not on team LGBTQ. She’s a Catholic [and] she’s got some boyfriend,” which means she’s going to walk into an extremely hostile environment,” said Whitlock.
We’re to tolerate them but they are free to be intolerant to us. Got it.
When will white people get reparations for the violence committed against them by black people?
I don’t believe there is a racial component to Draymond Green’s antics. There are dustups between black/not white players all the time.
There are surely bigoted black players in the NBA. Just like there are bigoted white players in MLB. And NHL. And PGA.
This article is looking for something that isn’t really there, IMHO. Suggests a conspiracy of some sort that doesn’t exist.
I learned all about black rage, uncivilized behavior, and lack self-control when I got sucker punched by one when leaving a movie theater when I was 13. He wheeled me around, let fly a right hook, and dropped me on the spot. This was back in 1964. I had five or six rude and near-violent encounters and confrontations with them in the following twenty years. I took Scott Adams advice decades before he delivered it.

The NFL is a prime example.
I switched from basketball to volleyball.
No blacks, and hot white chicks.
Same reason I swim and enjoy tennis.
I don’t have an explanation for competing in T&F sprinting though.
Aside from enjoying it.
If black players want the NBA to themselves, do it. Then go form a NWA league for players who pass a lighter skin color test. Problem solved. To each his own.

(If the NBA were really about entertainment, they’d have Jaylen Brown in the skills contest rather than dunking.)
I stopped watching NBA games years ago, after Larry Bird retired.
So white guys can’t play basketball?
Wonder what the response would be if a white person were to say point blank that blacks, by there own behavior, are incapable of acting in a civilized manner and therefore the rest of us need to separate ourselves from them.
I worked with basketball for years. This does not surprise me.
