The Communists hate him for sharing the truth about the corruption in Ukraine. The biggest money laundry in the Soros/DNC pipeline.

Ive never had to pay for a shopping cart. The only place in the US you see these are in airports. I live in the middle of nowhere where a majority of us are still sane.

I’m 69 and I’ve never seen it. Been in AZ most of my life.

Common across America? I don’t think so. The only place I’ve ever seen it was in a short lived English market chain - can’t recall the name - that lasted only a couple years in Southern California.

“In the video, Carlson was amazed to see that the shopping carts in front of the supermarket required people to put in a ruble coin, which they’d then get back when the cart was returned.

Carlson acted like he’d never seen this feature before - despite it being pretty common across the US”

Really? I’ve never had to pay to get a shopping cart anywhere in the US.

I’ve never seen this at any US supermarket. I’ve been to Aldis with someone else, but they didn’t use a shopping cart, so if a coin deposit was required, I didn’t see it. I don’t consider Aldis a supermarket or a US store, though.

I have, naturally, seen it used for luggage carts at airports.

He obviously never shopped at Aldi’s when they charged a quarter for a grocery cart. Then if you returned the cart, you got your quarter back. That’s from the way back machine. Maybe 30+ years ago!

Another manufactured us vs them story.
Tucker seems to be virtue signaling by mentioning this. Kind of a “see how great something is in Russia”
On the other hand this is a Aldi thing in the US.
But Aldi isn’t everywhere in the US, so true that many Americans may never seen it.

At our local dollar tree, they fasten a rod to the one corner of the shopping carts about 4 ft long so the cart will not fit out the door.

Count me in with Tucker. I have literally never heard of leaving a deposit on a shopping cart.

Criticized and mocked only by RINOs and commie trash.

The bit about coins for baskarts, nothing like that out thisaway in CaCaLand except in the airports. Only people living in blue city ‘Ellholes have experienced this.

As to his amazement, he was pointing out that inspite of all the chest thumping about sanctions — they are having no effect. None. They only hurt the West — which was the goal.

Ever since the HilaryHag cried Russian collusion there has been a complete cuttoff of anything in Russia. Just like you are not allowed to see anything in the MSM that might not be anti-Trump. Same goal — hide the truth.

Been buying my own groceries in actual grocery stores ever since I left home 35 years ago. Have lived in 4 states.

Have NEVER seen this feature.

That said, I’m not particularly impressed that such a feature exists somewhere.

“In the video, Carlson was amazed to see that the shopping carts in front of the supermarket required people to put in a ruble coin, which they’d then get back when the cart was returned.”

I’ve seen them in commonly in Europe, but then Tucker doesn’t live there and therefore likely never need to shop for groceries there.

I have NEVER seen that system in the US, though. Maybe it exists a bit now in California or the Northeast, who knows, I don’t live there.

Sounds to me like a typical anti-Trump-type HIT PIECE, since it cannot even be backed up by evidence.

Been grocery shopping in the US for longer than I care to admit, last time being about a week ago, and I have never ever seen this, although I don’t recall ever being at an Aldi’s either.

PathMark got these in the 90’s. They even gave out little red keys you could use instead of a quarter. They are not new in the US. Tucker is not one to let facts get in the way of his propaganda. He deserves all the ridicule he’s getting.
