Meat is good for you. There are experts who might disagree with me, and many researchers continue to search for evidence linking meat to heart disease, for example.
But as a Harvard-trained, board-certified psychiatrist specializing in nutritional and metabolic psychiatry, I’ve long been curious about the relationship between food and brain health, as well as overall well-being. And in my research, I’ve yet to find a credible, plausible health argument against eating meat of any kind (including red meat, seafood, and poultry).

The Japanese eat a lot of fish, including smoked fish, and seafood in general, and have more stomach cancer. They smoke a lot of tobacco too, though.
Inuit eat higher fat diet with that fish and blubber and have less heart disease, but higher stroke rates.
I’m sure vegans will accuse him of taking funding from Big Meat.

Humans are omnivores. Eating meat contributed to brain size and the development of language.
Warriors needed to eat meat.
It’s the way of nature. Denying it is to deny nature - something that the left does all the time.
Bacon is meat, and cheese almost is.
Don’t Eat For Winter
The whole point of the Fall Harvest was to get through the winter, so you fatten up on the foods from the harvest in order to use those fat stores. Those foods tended to be higher in carbs, because that’s what they’re for, to create fat stores.
But now, all kinds of food are available year-round, so there is really now no need to eat those foods to fatten up.
I also have a grain mill and grind my own and you are right.
I’m rather partial to summer sausage myself. Along with pickles and crackers.

I grew up eating Lebanese and Greek Food, so Israeli Food was like being introduced to an old friend who had grown up and gotten more interesting.

What gets me is that vegans eat fake meat which is a processed item. Yuck
