There is a growing consensus among conservatives and the vast majority of Republican voters that the 2024 election is a watershed moment for the United States. The dire reality of another four years of a Marxist-dominated Democrat Party in total control is beginning to increasingly come into focus.
However, the Republican Party hierarchy appears unconcerned, as exemplified by their near total lack of urgency regarding the need to offset voting manipulation by the Democrats and a lack of understanding of 2024 political demographics. Is the Republican Party hierarchy serious about winning the White House and both Houses of Congress?

The Republican National Committee (RNC), beyond issuing the usual fatuous press releases and reports about what they are going to do, has done nothing of substance on the ground to offset the Democrat’s determination to repeat their success of 2020.
In an effort to do what they can, individuals such as Scott Presler and his PAC have been on the ground in the various battleground states not only registering voters but instructing and recruiting volunteers to promote early voting, mail-in voting and to ballot harvest where legal.
However, instead of supporting and coordinating with Presler and various other get-out-the-vote organizations such as Turning Point USA, the RNC has deliberately ignored them and criticized their emphasis on direct contact with potential voters in their efforts to get-out-the-vote.

They are largely anti-Trump and MAGA so of course they care little about the rank-n-file and are willing to let the democrats win.
Overall the GOP seems to operate as being relatively less liberal than the Democrat party, thus the typical GOP official today is more like Democrats used to be. And on the street level, living in the NE, my impression of the GOP is that it does not even try to reach the lower-class, which think the Democrats actually care for them since they spend the money of others to obtain votes, and go about neighborhood seeking to enroll voters.
We need to rebuild the RNC from the ground up. New Republican leadership at the local, state and federal level. Ask the leaders what are their issues and hold them responsible!! We have to get involved, we let others lead us, and they weren’t for us. We can’t let others do our job...
“If you are a spy in a foreign land you must speak their language. Yes, the RNC has been infiltrated. It’s scum like Dade Phelan in Texas who run in heavily red areas, get elected, then govern as far leftists. We mistakenly call them RINOs. They are just undercover leftists.”
Michael Steele is the perfect example of the RNC hierarchy’s perfidy. The housecleaning should have begun right then.
We’re the voters....we have to get out the vote...maybe taking the elderly to the polls..or assisting them with mail ins. And we have to get those areas that the Dems hit which come in with massive totals. They’ve learned to overcome the intention of the elctoral college by targeting certain distracts. And we always watch those votes posted last....and voila...they take it.
To me it seems like another case of how California goes, so goes the country. For a long time it was so incompetently run it has seemed like the California Republican Party was run by Democrats, now the national party seems to be a front for Democrats.
Most voters have telephones.
If the telephone service is terminated or if the phone moves out of state the voter registration could get cancelled if two do not forward mailings are not answered.
Do not forward registration reinstatement mailings might be sent at 30, 20 and 10 days before the registration window closes for the next election.
I hate early voting and mail in as much as the next guy. But that’s the landscape. If the RNC isn’t able to work the rules and laws to our advantage I don’t know what can be done. The rules won’t change until we get someone else in charge.
I think balloons on tree stumps is a better idea.
“Fix 2020”
By virtue of the way our Constitutional system appears to work, in a certain way to produce a rough form of certainty to legitimize the soon-to-follow POTUS inauguration (i.e., in 2021, of Biden), Pence’s actions on Jan 6 2021 sanated 2020.
Hence, RC, although This Guy largely shares your basic sentiment, there is no fixing 2020.
Biden’s legitimacy can not be challenged retroactively. We as the United States have a queer but dependable way of moving on from our electoral sins.
Camelot(SM) and PT-109(SM) PACs might recruit and fund sane JFK-class Democrats.
...another troubling form or kind of infiltration, even if he and guys like him mean well...
What are they for? They just showed that leadership does not really care about the border. They might toss tax cuts out with a giant debt mountain and get pounded on that. Russia bad ? We have to help Ukraine when our border is being overrun? Biden is old with Mitch leading the Senate for us? They were given the house and did not even attempt to pass normal spending bills on time.
Trump picked Pence as his 2020 running mate.
Was that good for even three votes?
It’s being run by a freakin Romney. Draw your own conclusions.
The last election it was fully functioning as it should was in 2016. None since, and only getting worse...Ronna McDaniel and /or other members of the current staff now have it broke and dysfunctional like it was under Michael Steele. I’ve said this before, but we need another Reince Priebus who turned it around after the Michael Steele disaster...he got it well funded and turned into a well oiled machine with the best GOTV operation you could have. It’s all been downhill since then.
Would not matter if this bunch is serious or not - they are incompetent and inept even if they are as serious as you can get. The effect will be the same.
“Now he wants to fire her...”
Trump warmly gave Vivek, who had just finished verbally filet-ing McDaniel just days before on the debate stage, a stage and microphone to continue advancing his policy priorities.
So it does seem as if Trump has moved on from her as well.
