Your post prompted me to search for a comparison of power generation by country. I found one on
Wiki.
And yes, China, USA, and India are at the top of the list. The data surprises me. For instance, natural gas generation is double that of nuclear in the U.S.
Also the country to country contrasts are interesting.

If you recall during the Obama years the EPA forced a lot of power companies to shut down some of their coal plants and switch then to "clean burning natural gas" fueled plants. This was when the Dims thought of nat gas as the way to save us from our carbon sins. Of course, a few years later the Dims are punishing us for using nat gas.
That's what prompted me to install a bunch of solar and try to be more energy self-reliant.
