James Garfield, the 20th President of the United States, had all the makings of a great president. So why didn’t he become one? Louis Picone, author of The President Is Dead!, answers this tragic question.

Politics usually attracts the worst of the worst. And the derpstate insists upon it for blackmail purposes.

I had a cousin who collected stamps too. I never understood the draw of stamps.

read a short story about this They said Bell’s gadget kept hitting on the metal bed springs and the doctors went after the bullet where it indicated He died of infection.
I welcome other information.

Stamps are cool. Not only do you get to travel the world vicariously but you learn the name of every country in the local language of the country.
Plus you learn about people and historical events they deem to be important. For example, in Japan a famous author or anime artist is far more likely to get a commemorative postage stamp than a politician.

And, as an added bonus, the National Park Service guides do a great job adding detail and color. For example, I learned that the library was greatly expanded after President Garfield died.
The American people donated generously to ensure that Garfield's widow would not have to endure the poverty that Mary Todd Lincoln did.
