True Story:

My son-in-law’s niece, 16, came down from Ohio one summer to visit.

My daughter, who was not in the room with her, asked her out loud what time it was.

She replied, “I don’t know.”

My daughter said, “There’s a clock on the kitchen wall.”

“I don’t know how to read one of those.” was her reply................

I did one of those paper plate clocks for my granddaughter. Taught her to write cursive and the times tables.

She's 27 now, got her PHD from Brown in molecular something etc etc. and works at Chops (Children's Hospital) in Philadelphia as their lead data analyst.

Have never forgiven her for putting me in time out. lol

They’ll learn fast enough if the power grid goes down and we are forced back onto analog clocks.
