The Kansas City Chiefs’ hard-fought win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs on Sunday night was decided by just three points.
In Patrick Mahomes’ first-ever road playoff game, the Chiefs marched into Buffalo with a chip on their shoulders and delivered a remarkable performance to beat the Bills against seemingly all odds.
Not all was well after their victory, though, as players from both sides of the ball had complaints about a lack of hot water in the locker room and fan behavior at Highmark Stadium after the game.

The Ravens coach is very much a praying man.
I just watched the video of Mahomes running off the field. I saw ONE snowball. Not multiple. Not two.
Frankly, one is too many. The person that threw it if caught should be banned from buying future tickets.
However, AS a former Bills fan(I moved to NH and became a Pats fan) they need to be blaming their COACH and their defense. The Chiefs punted ONCE the entire game.
The Bills controlled the whole game going into the 2 minute warning. They had all the momentum. They came out of the two minute waning and fell flat on their face. They had been running the ball down their throat the entire game. Then they were eating them up with short passes. The KC DEFENSE stopped them.
The Bills should have never had to kick the field goal. Even
IF they had tied it up they would have given the ball back to KC with a minute and a half on the clock and two time outs. More than enough time to score again.
I know that BILL BELICHICK would have managed the clock so that he would have never left KC more than 25 seconds. That is why I am a Pats fan and wish I had not gotten sucked into the Bills fandom this season. It is always disappointing.
The Bills (Boy I Love Losing) are insufferable.
I am disappointed at how the fans acted and the lack of hospitality for a great football team away from home. I hope when other teams come to Kansas City they are treated well.
crybabies
Both the Chiefs and the Bills were complaining.
“ players from both sides of the ball had complaints about a lack of hot water in the locker room and fan behavior at Highmark Stadium after the game.”
“Where does that money come from?”
Ticket prices explain a lot of it... for all pro sports icket prices are absolutely ridiculous.
The nfl team where I am was planning to charge $99 just for a place to stand during playoff games....hilariously enough they dropped 5 games in a row at the end of the season thereby snatching defeat from the jaws of victory......and I laughed and laughed.
Even nascar......if you’ve ever attended a race you know your basically renting a spot to stand because nobody wants to sit down....when tickets for Daytona races got to $95 for a decent seat that was it for me.
The UFC started having fights here. Interested in seeing the fights live I checked ticket prices.......the cheapest seat were over $500.......WHAT???!!!
It appeared to me the Bills were crying. Sore losers.
Against all odds? The game was a pick'm game.

I, also, complain when there is a lack of snowballs.
Maybe you should take that up with Yahoo sports?
Mahomes has already been fined for his bad behavior this year by the NFL - $50,000 for being a big mouth cry baby
Yes, NFL players are well paid. However, there are very few that play for over ten years. The average is 3.3 years.
Back up QBs and place kickers are the exception.
I personally know two ex NFL players. They both had careers after the NFL.
Keep in mind that 50% of NFL players are broke five years after leaving the league. Even though every NFL player is given financial advise as soon as they are signed.
“Where does that money come from?”
TV contracts is where the bulk of the money comes from. CBS, NBC, FOX, AMAZON are all paying the NFL millions to broadcast the games. ALL NFL games are the property of the NFL(unlike baseball where the team owns the broadcast rights)). The proceeds are split evenly between all the franchises. All NFL licensed merchandise is also split evenly between the franchises. So, if you buy a Dallas Cowboys hat or jersey, the Carolina Panthers and Jets get an equal share of that.
It’s interesting to compare ticket prices nowadays with ticket prices from decades ago, and adjusted for inflation , you’ll find in most sports, tickets are far more expensive now than they were then.
I heard people tell stories about how when they were little their Grandpa took them to Fenway Park , and they were able to do so . Nowadays it is a big expense to take their own children to Fenway Park.
Long term , are sports shooting themselves in the foot, as far as developing the next generation of fans?
Dude (Mahomes) is a winner and knows how to win.
The Bills on the other hand blew it- again
At least they didn’t throw a “Billdo” on the field.
