NATO is using the Ukraine as its proxy in a war with Russia. For this reason, Z and his neo Nazi Azov's have never taken survival of the populace into consideration unless the cameras are on him. Putin was blowing away infrastructure believing that a leader would stop fighting and ask for negotiations if it could not protect remaining infrastructure so that the civilians would have heat and water. Z never paused. As the landscape turns to craters and embers, Z throws more people in the meat grinder. So many fled for the borders - why would the women and children return? He doesn't care because NATO doesn't care - no flesh in the game. The point is for NATO to destroy RUssia so NATO can assume control of the world - Russia is in its way. Ukrainians? Where? There were handicapped men in their 70s and boys as young as 15 - since they were 'only Ukrainian, they were sent to the front lines.
Don’t eat your corn seed - by this I mean sending women into combat is a short term solution that may doom your future.

Personally I am against women in combat roles but if a nation is large enough then if they are all killed the nation will survive.
However, for a small nation, sending women into combat is a short term solution with long term consequences.
Side note - this is also true for men if you are a small nation. When you send your “best and brightest’ into combat even if you win,you loose. I don’t think Europe and the UK have yet to recover from the blood bath that was WWI.

This is another good reason for us to stop supporting this useless war.
The United States of America should shut down NATO and turn Europe’s defense over to Europe. It is far past due.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a direct result of security fears the same justified fears that also drove policies against Georgia.
Now that the USA has this fiasco driven to fruition in Ukraine, though, neither Russia nor Ukraine will be allowed to end this war.
European countries, for the most part, only commit less than 2% of their GDP to defense, same as our mostly socialist northern NATO neighbor Canada does. They all are more than willing to let American taxpayers foot the bill for our wars. And why not? They are our wars after all...we generally fund both sides just so we can somewhat control the situation. And that’s not a good control, it is simply a control to keep the wars going perpetually with no winners and no goal to win.
Our NATO allies did not bring Ukraine into the fold because they had no reason to. They knew it would risk a war that could potentially go nuclear. The United States seems to be encouraging that nuclear war by further threatening to bring on more of Russia’s neighbors like Finland and Sweden. These people are sick.
Our only hope to end this is President Trump 47/2024. Our nation’s internal enemies, the military industrial complex, and our nation’s external enemies, China, Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, etc, see this as their opportunity to our destruction.

Whether one likes or hates Zelenskyy, the point still remains that Ukraine was attacked by an external party. Even if someone tries to come up with ‘reasons why,’ it still doesn’t take away from the point that Ukraine was attacked by an external party.
Sometimes people just want to fight back. Maybe they are silly, maybe they are misguided, maybe they are patriotic - but sometimes people stand in the gap against a larger force and say ‘come take it.’
It often doesn’t end the way movies like to show it, with the silly/misguided/heroic fighters winning.
But sometimes people just have to fight for their homeland.
whether or not their leaders are ‘good’ or ‘bad.’
I don’t mind if people fight for their homeland.

Only 30 years ago the left defended Russia as a misunderstood nation trying to make things better. As soon as the left needed Trump as a villain and needed an enemy to threaten their beloved laundrymat and child porn hub, Russia became the bad guy.
I worry that a BIG false flag in Ukraine will be used to set off a war needing US soldiers on the ground, and vilify Trump (even though it hasn’t worked yet they will create a link).

Ukrainian women are not required to fight but many are taking up arms. Tetiana Chornovol is an anti-tank guided missile operator and it's her job to destroy Russian tanks and stop the Russian Army's advance on Kyiv.
