Back in the day (the Days of Dan Jenkins and Frank DeFord among other notables), SI was a good sports magazine. But sometime this century it became a political magazine, and they still haven’t realized that no one wants politics with their sports, hence its collapse. Hasta la vista!

I fail to see how magazine publishing is even a thing anymore.

IMO it’s not any more for home consumption. But for some

held devices are always on and the carrier is talking or reading
