INDIANOLA, Iowa—As he stood on the brink of a seemingly unstoppable march to another Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump couldn’t stop thinking about all the ways he had been betrayed. “Do you think this is fun? Actually?” the former president mused. “It’s not fun,” he said, “but we’re getting our point across.”
The hundreds of devoted supporters who had braved subzero temperatures Sunday to cram into a second-floor auditorium at the Simpson College student union, half an hour south of Des Moines, hung on Trump’s every word as he riffed for nearly two hours. The crowd was dotted with white caps bearing the words “TRUMP CAUCUS CAPTAIN” in embroidered gold letters, and the former president wore one himself—a totem of the ruthlessly professional organization that Trump’s campaign has built, a far cry from the slapdash operation that failed to deliver him Iowa in early 2016. “These caucuses,” Trump said gleefully, “are your personal chance to score the ultimate victory over all of the liars, cheaters, thugs, perverts, frauds, crooks, creeps—and other quite nice people.”
If the polls are to be believed, Trump is poised to win Monday night’s caucuses by the largest margin in the contest’s history, potentially putting him in position to quickly wrap up the GOP nomination. It is a result so anticlimactic as to seem inevitable: the front-runner who never lost his lead, the hapless rivals who spent hundreds of millions only to consume each other. Given Trump’s unshakable hold on his core supporters and his stature as a former president, there was never any other plausible outcome, said Rick Wilson, an anti-Trump former Republican operative and founder of the Lincoln Project: “This whole primary has been Kabuki,” he said, because “40% of the Republican base will set themselves on fire for that man.”

The fact that there was no other outcome possible I question everyone of the other candidates judgement.
Congratulations, WSJ, by lying about him and the 2020 election, you’ve help make him unstoppable.
He was cheated out of it in 2020 by a massive fraud.
By doing what he said he was going to do for four straight years.
Open borders
Making America an energy slave again
Hyperinflation
Free stuff for everyone coming across the open borders
Persecuting MAGA and J6
Pushing DEI on the world
Trying to start WWIII
And then persecuting the one guy who stands up and opposes all of that.
It's really very simple. He stood for America and Americans when no one else will.
Yes but he has to pick a VP and he doesn’t have a stellar reputation for any picks he makes
Don’t forget this transgender crap!
I do so hope that he wins in November. I’d love telling the bitches that if he hadn’t had 2020 stolen, he’d be leaving office in 1-‘25, the economy would be fine, and the world likely at peace.
“Rick Wilson, an anti-Trump former Republican operative and founder of the Lincoln Project: “This whole primary has been Kabuki,” he said, because “40% of the Republican base will set themselves on fire for that man.”
I’d be more than willing to set Rick on fire.
Just saying.
L
Yup, you are exactly correct.
Don’t forget the ignominious and completely preventable pullout from Afghanistan (and the undoubted torture, rape and slaughter of our Afghani allies and their families Brandon left to the mercy of the Taliban).
The more DC and the people ruining America go after him, the more regular Americans love him. The more the party unjustly prosecutes him illegally. The more corrupt DC shows itself, the more the J6 hostages are abused, the more America realizes, “that could be me”.
Everybody knows Trump is a great candidate, but I cant help but notice that one of the reasons Trump stands out and is gangbusters on the campaign trail is b/c decrepit Biden is such a frickin’ weenie, a sack of nothing.
drJill’s crapola campaigning also significantly enhance Trump’s popularity. Did she really believe
her inconsequential defense of whoring crackhead Hunter would carry weight with voters?
>> Rick Wilson: ... “40% of the Republican base will set themselves on fire for [President Trump]...
I WOULD NOT EITHER set myself on fire for President Trump!!!
(However I would GLADLY set Rick Wilson on fire for him. :-) )
>> It’s really very simple. He stood for America and Americans when no one else will.
AMEN
>> I’d be more than willing to set Rick on fire.
You beat me to it! LOL
Okay, line starts behind Lurker.
LMAO.
It has nothing to do with Iowa. The second that Alvin Bragg prosecuted Trump, the primary was over.
A few simple reasons.
* He is one of the very few politicians not owned by the Deep State and China.
* Even though he is a billionaire, he is truly a man of the people who believes in the constitution, freedom, and liberty.
* Unlike the Dems, he is not working to enslave us but to liberate us from the GD overgrown government.
* He works for US.
* He is tireless and absolutely fearless.
* He is fighting the GD Dem lawfare tooth and nail.
