This could be, but what if Trump is wise enough to know that Vivek, unlike DeSanty and NeverNikki, is a smooth talking salesman. Trump surely has ample experience in dealing with the type.
So, Trrump understands Vivek’s “talent”, and decides to “keep him close”, using him for the very reasons you present, to articulate the agenda in a way that Trump can’t. Trump is too “rough” for the pearl clutches among us, and Vivek is a total “charmer”.
It is going to be very interesting to watch how this “odd couple” develop a working relationship. I dont know yet whether Vivek has the ability to negotiate as effectively as Trump, part of me thinks not, and part of me hopes so.
Trump also understands how a businessman can warp between political realities at the right time.
Maybe Vivek has had the same politics “wake-up call” that Trump had several years back.
Is Vivek following the same arc that Trump followed?
