My sister once had a dog who would attack and destroy paper. I left a couple dollar bills on the table and he got to them.
She was mortified and offer to compensate me, which was good, but for $2-3 dollars, it was not a big deal.
We learned then that NO paper of any kind was safe. She had to keep her kleenex boxes out of reach as well.
