"I like to make men uncomfortable. I enjoy making men uncomfortable," Obaid-Chinoy says to laughter and applause before she refers to Stewart directly.

It’s OK, it’s not exactly possible for me to be more over Star Wars than I am already.
Tom Cruise may be a Scientologist nutcase, but he knows how to make entertaining and popular movies. I loved the latest Mission Impossible.
The director just made me loose interest in whatever she makes.
Not ugly but she looks like a potential O-lineman.
I don’t “get” Star Wars.
When the original came out I had a good time at the theater in Anchorage. I saw it again and thought it was terrible. Then I remembered that the first time we had stuffed our parka pockets with little airplane bottles of vodka.
Skipped my last day in High School to go to opening night i n 1977. Spent 4 hours in line for tickets and another 2 waiting to get in. The guy behind me in line was the Washington DC editor of the National Enquirer, what a hoot he was. His wife pulled a cowbell out of her purse when we were being “herded” into the lobby and everyone started mooing (I think it freaked out the ushers). Fun times.
I think that made him resistant to the "woke" virus that seems to be infecting everyone in Hollywood due to his beliefs in Scientology.
Works for me, he knows how to entertain fans like us. To me, that's all it matters. We'll never meet him in the real world and we won't get to know him personally so it doesn't matter that he's a nut job.
It doesn’t make me uncomfortable to not spend money and time on your misandrist little movie, sweetie. It actually relieves me of having to feel like I need to.
This is another prime example of why you don’t put women in charge of anything.
When men make films and stories, they make them for everyone. Men realize what they make, may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but they don’t actively make it to piss off a huge segment of people. Lucas made Star Wars as a story for everyone. Speilberg made movies with stories for everyone.
The bitterness of women being women is what these women in charge want to spew out on everyone and slam men in the process. Disgusting. And you wonder why studios are sufferiing the worst losses and lack of people wanting to see this bitterness and hatred.
The last time I went to a theater was to see “Passion of the Christ”

Isn’t the Star Wars franchise held by Disney now?
Kathleen Kennedy II - Twice as crazy, Four times as ugly.
It is. But this Pakistani Muslim is new director for upcoming film.
They can make niche films so that can work and even win awards. But making a mainstream movie? Probably not.
But we're being woke. So consider this as an experiment.
Not all women or women directors are woke. Your generalizations regarding women are skewed… no comment as to why.
Our culture as it is and the way things work in Hollywood, yes they're all woke.
Sorry, but you are wrong. You discount those who work to produce alternate media. Just because they are not getting mainstream attention does not ignore their work.
Okay. Name them.
