Except the reporter cannot read an arrest affidavit. The reporter wrote:
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Guerra had gone to Preciado’s home to sell him marijuana on the night of Dec. 21.
Christopher Preciado said that Guerra pointed a gun at him when Preciado “manipulated the weapon,” resulting in Soto being shot, the affidavit said.
Moments later, Guerra once again pointed the gun at Christopher Preciado, who told detectives that he “manipulated the weapon again,” resulting in Guerra being shot, the affidavit said.
The affidavit clearly says the Christopher provided a version of the event that was inconsistent with evidence collected at the scene (Chris’s home) and from the victim’s recovered vehicle.
The affidavit does not describe what police actually think happened at the house.
He shot them both a point blank range. Apparently, Savanah in the car and Michael outside the car.
The affidavit also notes two strange things. Although he had been reported missing earlier, police to not have Michael’s Instagram acct info until after the car was found about 5 days later. I would think that would be front and center in this day and age.
It appears that they were not working very hard on the missing person case.
The Detective recognized Savanah from a previous murder case and was able to identify her at the scene.
