Deputies say the large surf over the last week uncovered the inert military ordinance.
The bomb squad removed it from the beach as a precaution.
It was collected by personnel from Travis Air Force Base.

Pajaro Dunes is about half an hour from (Closed down) Fort Ord. It's mostly hiking trails now.
Wow. Glad they found it.
I’ve walked on that beach with two curious dogs...
You can take dogs to that beach? I took my dog to Manresa Beach a couple months ago.
Here we get Eglin AFB WWII bombs on the beach and dunes.................
In the evenings, no one has ever said a thing.
I only visit every three months or so.
Find a beached whale and blow it up!
I was thinking of that.
If it was inert…it wasn’t a bomb. It was scrap metal.
That was attempted on citizen camera before. The public withdrew far from the whale, but when it exploded they and their cars were still showered with rotting whale flesh, with some chunks the size of small cars landing around them.

FTA:
“Deputies say the large surf over the last week uncovered the inert military ORDINANCE.”

Liberal urinalysts cannot even spell ordnance correctly.
No wonder the airheads hyperventilate so easily.
