Solar Flares are really like cosmic Russian Roulette.

It all depends of which direction they are pointing when they explode, the position of the Earth in its orbit and the speed of the ejecta....................

Yeah, the claim is that solar flares play a part in the Bermuda Triangle mystery, and that makes sense since it can adversely affect compasses and other equipment, but the world keeps turning, and that was my point. 🙂

It may be deadly to some who are in the wrong place at the wrong time, but the overwhelming majority in the target area never even knew what hit them.

Basically, I'm so tired of fear-mongering. People need to start putting things into a proper prospective. Life is fragile, but not as fragile as they often times try to make it out to be.
