“I’m not convinced of this big right ward shift.”

Being a Socialist/Communist is so, SO easy! And they’ve made it so! Group-Think, Marching Orders, Nazi Salute when called for, Feel Free to BITE the Hand that FEEDS You; Anything Goes! Whatever FEELS GOOD to you in the moment is JUST FINE!

*SPIT*

We’re LUCKY America has made it THIS far with the ENEMY of FREEDOM allowed within our gates! :(

‘republicans’ are USELESS tools. Utterly USELESS.

That’s likely because, as a “Goth Industrial New Wave weirdo” who knows about Bobby Steele, you don’t live in an echo chamber.

When I worked in NYC, I saw how easily people could get sucked in to liberalism. Manhattan is a island and many people don’t go “offshore.” They are generally affluent, think everyone spends $4,500 for an apartment, prefer museums to the range, and think organized religion is stupid. If they DO get off the island, it’s to the Hamptons. However, they tend to have a wide exposure to many people from all walks of life (though they discriminate as their DNC talking points demand).

At the same time, many on our side suffer the same fate but outside of the city. They made an ok living, live in a moderate home, go shooting with friends from church, and rarely go to the city. Their chief exposure to minorities is on the news or the local Chinese restaurant or their record collection.

Of course, I’m stereotyping.

But not by much.

Being in a punk or goth or jazz scene really opens your eyes. You see more people from all over the social and racial strata, find most of them are very similar to yourself, and at their core are a little scared and really want to be accepted. The -isms tend to fall away, and we accept our fellow losers as kin.

To be sure, as I’ve said before, no race has a monopoly on stupid or laziness or bigotry. I’ve met bad dudes across the racial spectrum. That said, the person who came to me in honesty and openness could be a lib, but we could find common ground. Indeed, the very fact that I turned out to NOT be a foaming hater MAY be enough to start a small red-pilling.

No. They don't.

They may walk by those people or have other people hire them to do things for them but they really have no exposure to them as people. You can tell this when they interview the little airheads. "oh minorities are simply incapable of getting ids" "oh such interesting designs" (said about a piece of material that read essentially kill the infidel). Had one of them ask me what people did for work west of the Hudson. She was totally surprised to find that people actually were doctors, lawyers, real estate agents, office workers and all the rest out in the great wilderness.

They live in a tiny bubble and interact with a very tiny circle of people.

Their chief exposure to minorities is on the news or the local Chinese restaurant or their record collection.

Tell me you do not know a single thing about your country without telling me you do not know a single thing about your country.

There are very few areas in the US of A where you will not encounter what you term "minorities". There is no area that is 100% WASP.

I would say your chief concept of what the country looks like comes from you never actually having traveled it.

Take a drive across America. Stick to the state routes and avoid the chain businesses.

You will be surprised at what you find.

Thanks for the reply.

Of course, I’m stereotyping.

But not by much.

If I followed your travel advice, I’d be re-tracking my footsteps.

Manhattanites suffer from/embrace cognitive dissonance just as easily as people from the mainland.

The far left progressives are actually lily white. Nearly seven-in-ten Progressive Left (68%) are White adults, making this group less racially and ethnically diverse than the other Democratic-oriented groups.

Yet, these chiefly white folks hold extremist views not JUST on race…

…but on a plethora of matters. Indeed, this lot holds more extreme views overall than those held by more racially-diverse Dem groups.

These whites live in enclaves in cities, prefer going to museums over going to the range, and think religion is sophistry. Their policies and language all reek of a Superiority Complex.

In my experience, this lot is fixed in their ways and sniff at anyone who dares to challenge their notions.

The flip side to this group is also largely (85%) white and are also among the most likely to live in rural communities. In general, they mirror FReepers..

This lot, too, has blind spots that, based on interactions, emanate from lack of exposure to actual _____ people.

With maximum liberty and freedom, we can freely associate. That’s why we are seeing libs come to our side.
