All I can say is that I don’t understand the Taylor Swift phenomenon. It’s the madness of crowds. I don’t hear anything interesting in her music — but I’m hardly the right demographic for it.

You’ve said it better than I could. I never understood the excitement over Madonna either. For kicks, I looked up this woman singing anything and it’s nothing but a bunch of noise IMO. This is being discussed on the radio now - pro and con. The host is suggesting that Elon Musk should have been named TIME person of the year - I agree.

I entertain myself with music from the ‘60’s/’70’s every day listening to very old records/CD’s/or on the computer...I can understand every word.

Recently my daughter mentioned that I ALLOWED her to listen to Madonna records when she was a teenager and she was surprised. I told her I couldn’t understand a word she was singing so HOW could I object? Same with this person.

Every song is “look what you did to me”. Incredibly puerile.

She’s a corporate production.
