Look at comment # 10. FSU played only 2 teams that wound up in the final rankings. Ho hum. If FSU wants to impress people with an undefeated season they need to play more of the big teams like Bama and Texas did.

FSU did everything that was asked of them, even when they were down to their third-string quarterback.

FSU plays Miami and Florida every year, and have for the past 50 years. Some years those matchups mean more than others, but the whole idea that FSU doesn’t “play the big teams” is spoken by someone who doesn’t know anything about the sport.

They went 2-0 against the SEC this year, including a road win against LSU, who had a national championship several years ago. They also beat Clemson who has two national championships in the past decade.

They deserved to be in the playoff over Texas and Alabama.
