President Trump is trying his best to give this country back to the people and half of the country is too stupid to appreciate it.

That’s a good summary of the current state of affairs. I like to think that it’s less than half the country, especially when you remove the percent that are corrupt or compromised (5-10%?).
Coyote slide -
The neighbourhood menace dug up the grave of my beloved Nala and continued what it started. I found her little body again and had to re-bury what was left of her, inside the fence this time. There doesn’t seem to be an end to the indignities that little girl has had to endure; but the desperation from hunger that would make the coyote do that activated the pity gene in me and I no longer want to kill it out of vengeance. It was just doing what everyone here is trying to do in these difficult times - survive a bad situation. I’ve contacted wildlife organizations to try to have it removed from our neigbourhood so no other pets are killed. When I walk Zeus now, I carry an old 9 iron and, if it comes near us, I will absolutely beat the living crap out of it without even one second of compassion.
Hi.
May I suggest carrying a 9 mm, instead of a 9 iron?
Could save your life and property one day.
This has been a public service announcement.
Good luck with the coyotes.
5.56mm
Re Nala:
Oh no— that would crush me. Poor Nala. The thought of you gathering up what was left...Two ideas:
1. Bury an open tin of poisoned dog food in Nala’s old grave.
2. Turn that coyote’s head to mush if he dares come near you.
Sorry to hear about you reliving that trauma.
I have often said that animals are out there just trying to make a living the only way they know how. No malice or evil intentions. They have no choice. No job offers coming in.
That said, if they poke a bear or a human they can suffer a bad end.
I agree with the 9mm advice.
Someone I know had the same grave disturbance problem with her deceased cat.
They re-buried and put a granite slab on top. Just a stone that was on thier farm.
That worked.
Sorry about the new trouble. Very sad all around situation.
My continued condolences, FRen.
😕
LL, one of my older dogs long ago was disturbed in her grave. Now I have them all cremated. They are all in their urns on the chest-of-drawers in the puppy’s room. I have four there now but no more worries about them being dug up. We have a local pet crematory here that is very reasonable and the cost is by weight. They have even done pet pigs, goats, and other animals. The only one of mine that was a little expensive ($200) was my 140 pound Bloodhound.
So sorry to read about your latest painful misfortune. I don’t know what critters are around here, but since hearing of a friend having a cat’s grave dug into, we’ve always buried ours around a yard to a meter deep.
