ATM transactions are digital banking transactions.
Odds are there is usually a satellite somewhere along the way between entering your pin and getting your cash.
Frankly, I don’t want anybody having control over an ATM except the bank or credit union that runs it, and the customer. (which is ME)
Cities, (and banks) long ago got tired of their important comms getting interrupted because someone knocked down a pole or was digging up a pipe.
These days, long distance transactions tend to go up, sometimes across, then down, and then back, through satellites.
That puts all THAT in the domain of the SPACE FORCE’s Sphere of the Multi-Domain Operations involved.
