How much does it weigh if you do turn the lights on?
Not sure where they got that. From the Genie website: "The GTH-636 has a maximum lifting height of 36 feet and a forward reach of 21 feet 11 inches. It weighs in at 17,600 pounds."
His parents must be proud of him ..he knows how to drive a forklift!! I learned at 17...🤓
When I was in eighth grade, my best friend dad i some wine and then took his mom’s station wagon for a joyride. He ended up rear ending the police dispatcher’s car parked in front of the sheriff’s station. He abandoned the station wagon and tried to run away. Two sheriff’s duputies got in a police car and the deputy in the passenger seat leaned out the window and scooped him up while he was running like mad.
“Juvenile Detention”
Ooh. That will help him “repay his debt to society”. And he gets to stay Anonymous.
Let’s say for the sake of argument he totaled 10 cars and a forklift. How much money does that represent? Hint for leftist cretins: A lot.
Make these children pay. Unless and until we truly make people “repay their debt to society” this shit will never end. It is now simply entertainment for them. They know they are untouchable.
They should have choppered in a certified forklift operator to take control,
One wonders if he’s one of them.
Many (many) years ago, a friend of mine did exactly the same thing in the same city, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Luckly, she didn’t hit any vehicles, nor do any damage with it. She too, was caught by police. Her influential parents were able to avoid any permanent blots on her record.
That’s nothing. I knew guy who jumped in a police helicopter and actually got it off the ground. Got some community service for that one.
My son once stole a construction forklift. Well, more like liberated it. He worked for a construction company that was going bankrupt. On his last day, he dropped off a load at the shop, including the forklift. (he’s a trucker)
He decided to follow a dirt road near the shop in his pickup just to see where it went. When he drove over a large patch of ice, he found out it was four foot deep sinkhole.
He walked back to the shop and liberated the forklift to pull his truck out and drag is a mile back to the road.
“It’s fun to do bad things.”
