The real question is, "Did he actually buy the yachts with any money from anywhere?"

If that question's answer is "yes," then it shows an insensitivity and/or misplaced priorities during Ukraine's efforts to repulse Russia's invasion. IWO, very bad optics IMO.

Update from Prof Gerdes on this whole subject of alleged $75 million used to purchase two yachts by friends of Ukraine Pres. Zelenskyy -- the story is 100% complete fake, fraud, Russian disinformation operation, nothing whatever real about it.

In two different videos, this was the first one, Gerdes traces the fraud's source and how it was picked up by others and reposted, including by Clayton Morris -- "Redacted" -- formerly of Fox News.
