Ukraine's Zelensky CAUGHT buying $75 million luxury yacht with U.S. money
11/27/2023, 10:03:49 PM · by delta7 · 21 replies Redacted News ^ | 27 Nov 24 | Clayton Morris"

I think I remember Clayton Morris on Fox News, years ago.

MeganC: "The two yachts belong to Putin."

UMCRevMom@aol.com: "Thanks Meghan.. your comment beat me to it! LOL"

Minor detail -- it's two yachts for $75 million total being alleged as recently purchased by close friends of Ukraine Pres. Zelenskyy.

That report on Ukrainian yachts looks to me like just more fake news, typical Russian propaganda, likely in response to the actual recent discovery of two more actual Putin Yachts.

Prof. Gerdes explains

Here Prof. Gerdes goes through this story, noting that all of it is from a single very shady source, verified by nobody at the time and unverifiable today.

Gerdes himself accepts the claim of two yachts being purchased as legitimate, though nothing about the alleged documentation looked convincing to me.

Gerdes accepts that the alleged buyers were friends of Ukraine Pres. Zelenskyy, for which I've seen no serious evidence.

But Gerdes draws his "red line" at the point of claiming Zelenskyy himself had anything to do with these purchases, since there is no evidence for that either.

Gerdes does note that Zelenskyy made a lot money as an actor producer before becoming President, so may well afford such purchases out of his own earnings.

But I saw nothing in Prof. Gerdes video which convinced me that any of this is real.
The far more likely explanation is pure Russian propaganda intended as a "what about this" response to the discovery of two much more expensive Putin yachts.

Putin's yacht collection is now up to one dozen, valued at over $1 billion, including this Putin extravaganza:

The whole point of using proxy buyers is to be able to say there’s no proof that what they bought has anything to do with the buyer.

If you read up on Zelensky, he got where he is now in part by the support of an oligarch. He’s got mansions to retreat to once the Ukraine collapses. MANSIONS. Multiple mansions.

Do you recall his choosing to be photographed with his wife and a stack of money? Do you recall her being exposed for Paris shopping sprees while her country was struggling?

These yachts are nothing compared to what Zelensky already owns - so I am not scandalized that his proxies are doing what they were supposed to do - make it look unrelated to him personally.

I’m sorry but Ukrainian actors/producers don’t amass the kingly wealth that is common in Hollywood. He wasn’t particularly good or popular - to propose he bought yachts off his ‘actor/producer’ earnings seems preposterous to me.So there’s nothing but his puppet wages and skimming off of the ‘foreign aid’ from the US/NATO, originally intended for the war, to explain his net worth now.

The comparison to Putin’s yacht is pointless in that the public can believe he’s not skimming it off US foreign aid.

Many heads of state (and legislators) of countries like the US, Britain, France etc. use their position in unethical ways to build wealth through means I don’t like - and Putin is no different. But those of us in the United States aren’t sending him 113 Billion dollars to fight a proxy war, and being asked to send him another 100 Billion to go yacht shopping.

As usual, the Ukrainian zealots are accusing Putin propagandists of doing what Zelensky propagandists are actually doing - saying ‘What about this?’ re Putin’s yachts to deflect from the fact Zelensky constantly begs America for more money and claims the Ukraine could win if we would just keep the cash flowing swiftly - while he skims foreign aid money and his country literally dies.

Hey BroJoke. Don't ping me - ever. I don't GAF what any Youcrayno the Clown!!!™ Award winner has to say.

If you feel the need to bloviate or spew at me, do it only as a response to one of my comments. Again, do not ping me - ever again. Got it? Good.
