As he aims for an upset victory in Iowa's Republican presidential caucuses, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is days away from reaching his goal of stopping in all 99 counties in the Hawkeye State.
DeSantis is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (2008), former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum (2012) and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (2016), who stopped in all 99 counties en route to Iowa caucus victories.
However, DeSantis is currently battling former ambassador to the United Nations and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley for second place in the latest GOP presidential nomination polls in Iowa, far behind former President Trump. The former president remains the commanding Republican front-runner in Iowa, the other early voting states, and in national surveys, as he makes his third straight bid for the White House.

FYI. Nikki was in our area today. She originally made plans to have an event at a smaller venue here, but changed it to the campus of USCB (University of South Carolina Bluffton) 3,000 were expected but the line of those trying to attend was huge and were being turned away. She has quite a bit of support, especially with women in this area.
She will out of the race before it even gets to South Carolina.

Candidates like Chris Dodd (who?) and a few others have actually rented homes and moved their families to Iowa while campaigning full time for the caucuses. Visiting all 99 Iowa counties didn’t help them.
The GOP is going to make sure Trump doesn’t win.
Haley was SC Gov iirc. Voted for DT twice but he lost me when he called Haley “Birdbrain” as it says a lot about his character/judgment imo.

DeSantis already has the caucus pledges to win Iowa. He did it by going to every county and speaking to small and large groups alike. They like his pro family message, his focus, and his discipline. He also participated in all of the debates because he isn’t afraid to defend his record because he didn’t buckle to the deep state demands that he shut down Florida indefinitely.
Ronna McDaniel, the globalist shill who Trump lobbied hard to be the RNC chair is doing her best to install Trump as the nominee, with bogus push polls and Fox News puffing Trump, but in the end, Ron De Santis has already won Iowa.
