Who assigns their sex to them? When is a childs sex assigned? Before my daughter was born, an ultrasound was done and apparently her sex was already assigned? It didn't change during her birth, she was already a girl.

Sex isn’t “assigned” by anyone “at birth”.

Sex is determined at conception, by science and G-d.

Such a nonsensical statement as this simply proves the need for the law in the first place. No wonder the poor girl is gender confused. When teachers (and social media) tell you that you can do the impossible, you certainly can be confused when it doesn't work. She can dream the impossible dream all she wants, but others shouldn't be forced to pretend it is true.
