Former Republican presidential candidate and outgoing Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said he would vote for a Democrat if former President Donald Trump or political newcomer Vivek Ramaswamy secure the Republican nomination.
CBS News host Norah O’Donnell asked the retiring senator for his preference in the 2024 Republican presidential field.
“Anybody. I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans, maybe not Vivek, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me and I’d be happy to vote for them. I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too. I mean, it would be an upgrade from, in my opinion, from Donald Trump and perhaps also from Joe Biden,” Romney answered.

Romney, like W, would rather vote for known criminals to be POTUS over Trump, who is not a criminal. Why do they think criminals are a good choice. Can’t stand these dirty politicians.

When Mitt ran, I voted for myself as a write in.
Not much of a case there wildcard_redneck against Ramaswamy who is the ONLY one on the national stage to stand up to the Left like Trump and call for the dismantling and removal of unconstitutional federal agencies and acts like NO ONE has.

IT would be nice if the Pubs had some strict party discipline. Statements like this should be enough to get one booted from the party forever but no he’ll continue to RINO till the cows come home. And Romney is far from alone unfortunately. There are a raft of people who should be given the heave ho.

I worked on his campaign in 2012 and it was incompetent. If the total meltdown on election day (ORCA, etc.) wasn’t enough - think back to the surreptitious recording of his 47% remark. All because the campaign wasn’t smart enough, capable enough to screen not only the attendees but also the hotel staff for recording devices. A gay fellow working on the wait staff at the hotel placed an iPhone behind a planter near enough to Romney to capture that comment, and from that point on, he was digging out of a hole. Do you think Obama didn’t make comments behind closed doors that would have been devastating if revealed to the world at large? Of course he did, his campaign was just much more competent at screening those comments from the world. The way 2012 went down just blew holes in Romney’s preferred image as management expert. The only thing his campaign produced that was ahead of schedule was his concession speech on election night.
This guy turned out to be a COMPLETE DISASTER.

Refusing to be ruled by a cultural and religious colonizing minority is only good sense. Rational people vote for those that will enact a laws in line with their belief system and culture and anything else is just colonization. You must want to be like the Chinese when they were ruled by Europeans like a good little weak suck.
