A gay fellow working on the wait staff at the hotel placed an iPhone behind a planter near enough to Romney to capture that comment, and from that point on, he was digging out of a hole. Do you think Obama didn’t make comments behind closed doors that would have been devastating if revealed to the world at large? Of course he did, his campaign was just much more competent at screening those comments from the world. The way 2012 went down just blew holes in Romney’s preferred image as management expert. The only thing his campaign produced that was ahead of schedule was his concession speech on election night.
