IMHO, every American should be required to wait in a nice, long TSA security line once a week with a tight flight to make. Add in a pat down after nude x ray scanner (my revenge on the TSA) and a break out for a courteous, friendly security screen of your carry on every few times.
Terrorism would cease to exist in a matter of months. Possibly along with a few bothersome countries that we would never miss.
