Israel should arrest Qatar's emir until Qatar hands in Hamas leaders hiding in Qatar, seize Qatar's oil fields to pay for the war against Hamas By Ezequiel Doiny
Qatar not only finances Hamas, it also privides refuge to its leaders. On October 11, 2023 the Wall Street Journal reported "Two former senior U.S. security officials called for military action against Hamas leadership allegedly being provided safe haven in Doha if Qatari authorities don’t hand the officials over to the U.S. or Israel. Ismail Haniyeh, president of the Hamas political bureau sanctioned by the U.S. under terror powers, allegedly oversaw from Doha the group’s strike against Israel over the weekend. Those responsible for orchestrating the attacks “are operating in plain sight and within reach in the hands of our purported major non-NATO ally Qatar,” said Mark Wallace, a former U.S. representative to the United Nations and head of the New York-based United Against Nuclear Iran. “We should not hesitate to act militarily on Qatari soil to bring to justice Ismail Haniyeh and Hamas leadership,” Wallace said. Frances Townsend, a top counterterror adviser to George W. Bush and head of the non-profit Counter Extremism Project, also joined the call for action. Neither representatives for Qatar in Washington nor the State Department immediately responded to requests for comment..."

Yes.
IIRC the Mossad has a history of arranging fatal ‘accidents’ involving individuals that Israel considers a danger to their homeland. The hit does not need to be a big, public event. It should appear to be simply a case of bad luck for the target. So sad ...
I’ve been waiting for a Mossad hit - maybe they’ve gone underground
hiding in Qatar,
Doesn’t seem like they are hiding at all...they are always on tv, being quoted and stuff...
Qatar is one of the major US allies.

Qatar Begins Expansion of Al Udeid, Air Base the U.S. Uses to Fight ISIL
Posted By Adam Ettelbrick on Jul 24, 2018
On Monday, Qatar announced that it would invest $1.8 billion to upgrade Al Udeid Air Base. Al Udeid is the biggest U.S.-used base in the Middle East and is home to the U.S. Combined Air Operations Center, U.S. Air Forces Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Central Forward Command and Central Command’s Forward Headquarters.
The expansion of the base comes as part of an effort by Qatar to deepen its strategic and cooperative partnership with the United States in the ongoing fight against terrorism in the Middle East.
Since May, when the U.S. began Operation Roundup – focused on accelerating the dismantling of ISIL organizational structures in Iraq and Syria – American and coalition forces have increased military pressure in the region. In the last week, “coalition military forces [have] conducted 24 strikes, consisting of 40 engagements, in Iraq and Syria.” The planned upgrades at Al Udeid will allow the U.S. to continue to use the base as its main launching point for the high volume of ongoing operations in the region.
Sounds good, but by what authority? Is there such a law??
A well run country would not send money to a terrorist organization, but since it has, the U.S. State Department and DOJ should declare that Hamas Leaders have committed Fraud and seek the impound of these funds where ever they can find them and of course, do a clawback of those funds. They should seek the arrest of these Hamas leaders through Interpol and send them to brussels for prosectuion by the world court. (If Mossad gets there first, well, that's OK too.)
To Brussels because We do not really want them here as a focal point for protest....Let them languish for 10-15 years awaiting prosecution and trial in Belgium. If released, Mossad can take care of things them.
This is of course what should happen, But this is Bumbling Joe & Barrack the Magic Brown Unicorn Show and it won't. (So between Ideal and Reality exists a cue for the Freek Chorus to start chanting: "It'll never happen! Call me when it happens! Nope, Nope, Nopers! etc."
“ Sounds good, but by what authority? Is there such a law??”
I’m not sure what law you’d be looking for.
Is war good enough for you?
Since there no longer actually is a Hamas, it follows there is no Hamas leader.
The individual in question is now a stateless nobody. He is reduced to the status of Idi Amin
