I think the reason is is that the Republican National Committee, perhaps Rona McDaniel herself, negotiated this appearance on NBC.
Then we could discuss why Rona McDaniel thinks it’s a good idea to go on NBC. Does it provide a bigger audience perhaps?

I’m sorry to say...it was DJT.
I watched his comments in a video on patriots.com. When he rattled off the years of election failures under McRomney, I couldn’t help but think that Democrats would never tolerate anyone being head of the DNC, and losing that many times.
I see Vivek as a clever person, but I also see him as an opportunist who doesn’t shy away from seizing opportunities that become available, regardless if he believes in what he says or not. In other words, I see him as a very insincere person.
