Some of it might be factual enough, but Chellaney entirely misses the real problem, which is that Westerners in general and Americans especially are unable to distinguish between our friends and our enemies, so we end up treating our enemies like friends and our friends like enemies and the results are the total chaos and confusion we can see everywhere we look.
The solution is so simple it boggles the mind -- when people or countries act like our enemies, we treat them like our enemies and when they act like our friends, we treat them like our friends.
