Long Beach residents are up in arms after yet another horrifying incident that occurred Wednesday involving a homeless person in the downtown area of the city, an area that local police refer to as The Beast.
In the latest episode, a homeless man was filmed masturbating in front of a nail salon window, refusing pleas to stop as those inside watched on in horror.
In an interview with Fox Los Angeles the salon's owner said that it took police nearly two hours to respond to their 911 call. The owner said in the same interview that one of her employees was sexually assaulted in the neighborhood earlier this year.
It was less than two weeks ago when a woman became the victim of an attempted rape in broad daylight that was caught on camera in the same area. That woman was only saved when an elderly man pepper sprayed the 'demon possessed' suspect.
Despite arresting the assailant, liberal Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon's office opted to charge him with minor sexual battery charges that could see him avoid any jail time altogether.
A woman who works in the area who witnessed the homeless man masturbating outside of Salon 500 told KTLA in an interview that sometimes the police don't even respond to calls in the area.
'It's daily, it's daily. It's scary. You don't not feel safe walking the streets here,' Zoe Garcia told the station.
'[The cops] took two hours to arrive. Most times, they don't even come out,' she added.
Meanwhile the owner of Salon 500 described how terrifying it is to try to run a business in a such a lawless environment.

During the latest episode of businessman and commentator Patrick Bet-David’s podcast, the “Young Turks” co-host called the California city a “nightmare” and warned visitors, “Your car’s going to get broken into, okay? You’re going to get robbed.”
The conversation began with Bet-David bringing up Kasparian’s X post from last month in which she claimed, “California is *without question* a shit show under Newsom. But I guess propping up proven failures is what the Democratic Party excels at these days.”
Kasparian, a Los Angeles native, told the podcast’s co-hosts she believes her hometown and California still have “a lot of potential,” but added, “there have been some policies implemented that have been disastrous.”
She took aim at Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., and the state government, stating, “So, Gavin Newsom and the current Democratic legislature in the state of California have engaged in this trend of decriminalizing everything and refusing to regulate things.” She mentioned that the state government has done this with prostitution, for example.
“No one is safe, everyone’s angry, and you see all sorts of terrible stuff happening right there in broad daylight in the middle of the street.”

Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Democrats in Sacramento are working steadily these days to close several California prisons, perhaps as many as six.
The stated benefits include saving money and doing something to address mass incarceration of Blacks and other minorities, which is partly the result of the much-maligned federal and state “war on drugs.”
But despite support from the elected chief prosecutors in several of the most populous California counties, there are dangers.
Take some provisions of a bill that came within a hair of becoming law this fall, one that would allow most convicts, including murderers and rapists, to petition for re-sentencing and eventual
parole.

I remember that video. That poor old woman should be in a nursing home not on the streets. Why her family doesn’t help her is beyond me.
