I have never been impressed with “The Scream,” but, then, I don’t see what the big deal is regarding the “Mona Lisa” either. Still on my list to see at the Louvre, though, just because.

The Mona Lisa is always represented as this massive portrait when presented in the news or other discussions, but it’s actually quite small measuring just 30 inches by 21 inches.
When my daughter is painting she’s working on canvases that are 4-5 feet or larger .... she likes to work big....so this thing just seems dinky to me now.

I hope you fulfill your wish to see the painting but, when you do, you may be surprised by how small it is. It’s only about 30” high x 20” wide and you have to view it from about 8-10 feet away.
