...thousands of boilers (furnaces?) need to be replaced before winter sets in... My first thought was this is how they accelerate the change over to heat pumps.

well wouldn't it have been nice if this country had encouraged smart, high integrity young men, or women, to go into the crafts...electricians..plumbers..carpenters..etc etc....you know, young people that can actually DO something...
too busy pushing communications, poly sci, social work, and humanities etc....
we need people that can do real work..
