" she can take a little comfort in knowing that hers wasn’t the most embarrassing crash of the week. No, that honor goes to the two tourists in Wales who managed to wedge their Nissan Juke between two walls on a walking path".

“How she got her car in there, we have absolutely no idea”
Facilities like that typically have red-green lights for when to move.
If she is a native Masshole, good chance she was trying to Steal A Left at the signal and crashed.
*Stealing A Left is a native driving term in Massachusetts.

Stealing A Left is stomping on the go fast peddle as soon as the light turns green to make a left turn. Can be done from any lane.
If you have been driving in this century, you have observed it.
There is also Stealing A Right…from any lane.
The Fade is another one.

Several natives up there told that they have terms for their various bad driving habits and there was no variance in wording with three I have listed.
I put my high beams on a Taunton PD cop that did that in front of me. Hope I scared the crap out him when my Blazer stopped short of him.

Ask some of your younger friends if they know those three driving terms I listed.

I have heard “hook a u-ie” for make u-turn. I've heard it as "throw a u-ee" or "flip a u-ee".
As for "stealing a left", I've heard of as "jumping the left" as in jumping the order of their turn.
To: nickcarraway
I betcha she sought revenge on the owner of the car.

Only if they have lived in Massachusetts their entire lives.
Ask them to spell Massachusetts while you are at it.
