First, about early June, I logged these two transponders as Data Points.
They stood still and had an elevation of -900 ft (900 feet below sea level)
Closer inspection showed that one was inside the 12 mile limit and the other outside the 12-mile limit, where they remain today.
Then, a few weeks later the Titan sub event happened and several media outlets ran THIS story:

The conclusion was that I had logged the transponders used in that secret Navy "listening" line and that they were installed to detect ALL submarines.
Some of our frens thought the Titan was allowed to launch so the Navy could listen for it and prove the sensitivity of the equipment.
-900 feet is below the "noise-line" typical of the first ~100 feet of water.
In June, US media outlets reported it was a secret stuff installed by the Navy
Today, those stories (US Media) have been memory-holed.
Maybe no so secret?
Plane-watchers are allowed to see these two.
Common belief is that these are part of a line of sonar "listeners" that send the signal to the 2 transponders.
Planefag frens tell each other that the incidence of P3/P8 in the Chesapeake and further south down the coast has slacked off.
I'm just curious as to why the West Coast doesn't have the same?
