Good up to date list of what Men really want with women
I’m sorry to hear that!
My Grandfather gave me a yearly subscription to the Readers Digest for a birthday present. I always got mond in the mail before the new edition hit the store shelves by grocery store checkout lanes.
So I always had seen the new covers first ahead of the public.
One year my grandfather passed away.
I was going through a grocery checkout, saw the new month’s edition and realized I hadn’t seen it before and that it wS because HD had died and not sent it to me. All I could do to make it through checking out my items. No one else there would have understood. Grew up a little that day.
I dated a girl who was deep in debt. I stupidly gave her money to help but learned she would never change. I never did that again. She was poor but wanted all the good things in life.
I moved into a house where a friend’s grandparents had died recently (actually in a nursing home). But the mail kept coming and the main thing was Readers Digest. I’d read the jokes and toss it. It never stopped. I was there two years and it was still coming when I moved again. Never seen an issue since except on a magazine rack or a doctors office.
Brightly (unnatural) colored hair. God provided some of his more toxic critters with bright coloring for a reason.
Being on, or mention of having been on the following: Tinder, TikTok, Instagram, either as a viewer or user/account holder.
Constantly trashing an ex, especially on the first or second date.
The last couple Dr office appointments I saw no magazines and a small placard explaining that since Covud there would be no more.
From the age of the mags in my dr’s office I’d worry about the Spanish Flu.
Same here. Most are reprints of previously published rd articles.
I miss Their books. They were great brief read alouds.
Poignant story.
We all find our true losses in different ways
I saw those articles.
It was just SUCH a coinkydink that the camera was rolling in both cases.
I call BS. People will do anything for attention.
Male or female ... Add criminal check too. Awwww heck, just run a complete background check. You might find out your upcoming date is actually married, and has several aliases too.
Yeah, if "she" is a he that insists he's a "she".
“Apollo 11-17 denier”
That’s a new one. Probably a big problem for daters born before somewhere around 1965 or before. I’ll be on the look out!
I would add as warning signs:
- Bad relationship with one or more parent;
- Does not like children
- Bad employment history.
There’s been a lot of FR posts about dating recently. What’s going on? Are we living vicariously?
My big take away from the article was that it is expensive to date. I always took my first dates out for ice cream. That was a cheap ice breaker. But I recently bought ice cream and it cost a fortune. Is it still customary for a man to pay?
Bkmk
Beat me to it! LOL.
Hates golf! ‘Nailed that one.
