Arkansas is the first state in the United States that is taking a strong stance against ‘hostile foreign entities,’ particularly China, by banning them from owning agricultural land in the state.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Gov. Sarah Sanders (R-AR) announced that the state has ordered the Chinese state-owned Agri Chemical Company, Syngenta, to divest itself of its land holdings in Arkansas due to national security concerns.

Remember people getting the vapors over Trump's actions regarding the steel industry? Chinese manufacturers were using front companies in Canada and Mexico to exploit NAFTA. If I remeber correctly, there was also a national security angle where sub standard steel was finding its way into defense related applications.

They’re being allowed to sell? US and Canada needs to seize all Chinese stuff. The fact that it was allowed to happen is treason in itself.
She should not have said “national security concerns” as that is not her responsibility, gives some lib judge reason to block this directive. She should stick to Ark Security concerns.

Uncomfortable with “ordering” foreign entities around. But I am not adverse to additional taxation on foreign real estate holdings, enough to make them change their mind and absolutely no access to .gov subsidies of any kind
