A family whose members are still "shielding" due to COVID more than three years after the pandemic started said they feel "forgotten" as the rest of the world moves on.
Rob Boxall and his family, who live in the U.K., said that visitors have to isolate for two weeks before the family can see them, as SWNS, the British news service, reported.
Boxall's wife, Mandy, has had seven COVID jabs — but still reportedly has no protection from the coronavirus.

Agreed — a dear friend of mine (from high school days) has been jabbed & boosted but is deathly afraid of giving something to her elderly mom (who lives in a retirement community). Her dad died just before or during early COVID, but not of COVID. This friend is very liberal & watches a lot of mainstream news/TV (like The View).
She still wears a mask and pretty much goes out only for groceries for her and her mom or DRs visits. She did come over once for a friends’ get-together here, during the summer, but we all stayed outside; she kept her mask on & would not swim/float about in the pool with the rest of the group.
She has been living on an inheritance from her Uncle, but that is running out, and I don’t see how she can possibly get/hold a job with how she currently lives. I honestly do feel very sorry for her.
How stupid can you be? How unaware can you be?

My wife had chemo last summer. About a month after it was completed we both got covid and both got over it in a week.

Good for you, I know someone who was shot through the head, and is perfectly fine, however I would not recommend that people put a bullet to their skull and pull the trigger.
Their health and diagnosis are theirs, not yours or your wife’s.

he claims someone swore at him for wearing a mask, which I believe because I’ve done the same thing, but not to someone’s face...I’m really unsympathetic about that, as by far the ridicule centered on those who vigorously opposed the masks like myself is much worse than what he is dealing with...how many fistfights did I almost get in over these goddam face diapers...?

I have a daughter and son in law who have done the same thing...sad.
It’s sick what fraud Fauci and his crew of misfits have done to so many gullible people.
I recently saw a senior couple out bike riding both wearing cloth masks. They were wearing cloth masks that afford no protection against viruses and were alone outdoors. One could readily guess their political affiliation.
