There are a lot of other things that they could be standing up for.
Republicans stand up for the trite.

Maybe if Fetterman didn’t want to dress for the job he has, he shouldn’t have ran for it? He IS a slob and disgrace to the institution, among other things.

That includes the wine pairings. $310 without wine.

" That hood is to cover his ugly neck, I’m thinking." He does have that large unsightly growth
on the back of his neck. I guess he's probably
rather self-conscious about it being noticed
by the public.

So Fetterman should just wear a high turtle neck shirt with a SUIT. Not boxer shorts.
To: FarCenter
So with a drink and a tip that brings lunch to about $700.00. That seems fair.

My husband found out when he went from
jeans at work to suit and tie, people showed respect.

Or you recognize that’s superficial thinking. OK t-shirt at a funeral is probably bad. Maybe. Honestly I want my funeral to be fun. I want people to listen to music and drink and remember the times I made them laugh. I since I spent 99.9% of my life in t-shirts that’s probably how they should be dressed.

If just one airline would enforce a dress code, I’ll bet it would be a huge success. They’d likely attract the finest, most well behaved passengers This is not the 1950s. All the American airlines are budget airlines. We want cheap fares, not first class.
To: MinorityRepublican
We didn’t even necessarily want first class in the 50s. Airline industry was highly regulated, they really weren’t allowed to compete on price. Once Carter de-regulated prices went through the floor, and suddenly most Americans could afford to fly. Of course, that’s when they became cattle cars. But we can all fly.

I postulate a valid theory that you clearly misunderstood and then jumped right in to both lecturing (with the obvious) AND boring me with what "we" want. So, I'll take your bait: Who's "we", exactly, Miss Mini-Fetterman?

People are not going to dress up in a suit and spend $500 on a flight from Atlanta to New York.
Things have changed. We'll rather pay $150 for a ticket and wear a hoodie and shorts instead.

Well, Minoritardo, your redundancy and advocacy for your Fettermentality per this made up "we" thing has really not been an effective argument. Now you're even making up airfare prices to justify your mental laziness. For the SECOND TIME, who's this "we", you're talking about?
