Who are you accusing of lying like and-bag? Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 NATO has marched ever eastward towards Russia. NATO is military alliance, whose founding was to contain the Soviets and they just switched right to “containing” the Russians. Adding the Ukraine, which is on Russias border, to NATO was a bridge too far for Russia and the West should've anticipated Russia's response.

America wouldn't put up with Russia adding Canada or Mexico to an anti-American alliance and sending military personnel and military equipment into these two countries. Just look at our history with Cuba.

You sit in a country with 750 military bases worldwide and you think that America are not an aggressive, grasping empire. Those we “help” we usually just end up raping.

The plea and stance is relying on one not examining the words closely. No comments, no matter how aggressive, can "censor" anything in a thread. The only censors which can function on these FR threads are moderators and, ultimately, the Robinsons as operators of the Forum itself.

Thus the complain is false.

Censor -- verb :examine (a book, film, etc.) officially and suppress unacceptable parts of it. Example: the report had been censored ‘in the national interest’

That the misuse of the verb is as it is suggests the remainder of the complaint is also incorrect. The remainder of the phrase asserts "opposing conservative political opinions."

The construction of the entire sentence is to confound, with misuse of a verb, and the making the "assumption" that other views are necessarily "opposing conservative political opinions."

The one writing this has repeatedly cited Biden-endorsing Democrats. Not a sign of "opposing conservative political opinions. The clear conclusion is that some on these daily threads are indeed 1) political, 2) oppositional, but for some of us 3) NOT conservative.

In battle, camouflage is a method among many to be employed. In strategy, misdirection is part of the operational art. In rhetoric, crying foul and alleging victimization is a most "progressive" tactic.

Ergo, a comment which does not meet the "narrative" is "trying to censor" though none of us are empowered to censor. Falsehood, if intended. Poor choice of words, if unintended. I suspect the former.

Naw, but Ukraine has millions of tons of grain to export, which will go to the world's poorest countries, typically in Africa, at discounted prices often supported by charitable organizations.
The problem is Russia's announced blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea ports.
That leaves "the world" writ large with a choice of:

1. Use NATO navies to protect Ukrainian grain export ships near Russia in the Black Sea, or

2. Support more expensive rail shipments of Ukrainian grain to other countries' ports for subsequent shipment to Africa, or

3. Do nothing and let the grain rot in Odessa while the poorest starve in Africa.

I doubt if anyone wants the third option, but which of the first two makes more sense?

Finally, as Paul R. noted in post #73 below, the US has contributed roughly half of the total aid to Ukraine, Europeans the other half, with zero American troops fighting there.
This makes Ukraine a vastly different war by category than any other since World War II.

The only other remotely analogous is our military aid to Israel, which has proved effective now since the 1960s.

A NWO may exist in the minds of some power brokers, but I think that was based on the idea that Soviet communism was dead, and we could stop wasting money and human and material treasure on unproductive war. Instead wemcould unite the world in productive activities. So far as I and many are concerned, we see the Ukrainians are willing to fight for their freedom, All we have to do to maintain their will is allocate around FIVE PERCENT of our US military budget to helping them, That is a bargain at twice the price. We manufacture military supplies, and send them to Ukrainians who make good use of them. We also encourage our allies to do the same which most are actively doing, or helping in other ways as we also are.

As you say, this is an old problem of imperial urges of great powers. I can trace it in parts of my own family. The French/Prussian war around 1870 ruined my great grandfathers agribusiness in East Prussia, currently Russian controlled Kaliningrad. His daughter, my grandmother, married a marine engineer. Concerned about the direction the Kaiser’s navy was apparently taking, they decided to emigrate to the US around 1890, One activity of my grandfather in WW1 was to take a significant role in converting a major passenger liner into a troop carrier. This to transport our troops to fight in Europe.

Immediately after WW2 ended, my father spent years fighting the efforts of Soviet Russia and Stalin to take over the port of New York. This was being done in both east and west coast ports by attempting to subvert the US labor movement with communist infiltrators and traitors. A move was made on my father’s white collar union including payments to the commies by the well known company whose workers were represented by my father as elected officer. Eventually they succeeded in spliting the union into two groups which seriously weakened its bargaining ability resulting in overall failure of effective representation.

In the previous decade I ended up in a serious series of fights with a local man who took great pride in the activities of his communist parents who were active in the New York City port struggle. THey were active on the opposite side of the struggle my father had engaged in.

It is easy to see that these struggles will go on and on no matter what label like NWO some people choose to give them. So long as there are people so greedy they need huge amounts of personal wealth and power to feel safe, aggression and wars will contineu as the rich and powerful seek to take all they can grab from anyone not willing to fight back. I do not know what sick, miserable early experiences turned Putin into a man who needs total power and $200 billion to feel safe and secure. However, as usual, his delusion of personal safety is not working, and is creating great misery and waste for millions. So remember, for a mere 5% of our military budget we are enabling the Ukrainians to keep up the fight for their land’s integrity. In the process they are not asking for our army to sacrifice lives in this unnecessary war. Their success could help prevent a future war with either Russia or China that could cost tens of thousands of American lives.

Among those who comment on threads like these, some argue there can be only two choices. One supports the Zelensky government of Ukraine, or one supports the Putin government of Russia. There are more views than this, which your question simply ignores, and therefore anyone who holds a third view is dismissed, assigned the role of a P-supporter and then addressed as such. In doing so, you dilute your attempt to further discuss anything with me.

2) As far as censorship as a topic is concerned, you again "palm the ace." No comment on any side in this discusscion can censor another. This is why I entered a clear, dictionary definition into my last comment. To censor is not in the hands of any who comments on this forum, period.

It was included specifically because another stated -- and stated incorrectly -- that "those Freepers that are trying to censor...." can actually censor. They cannot. Ergo, your comment to me is a misrepresentation of the forum guidance, as it is a misuse of simple definitions as one finds in any dictionary.
