They may have passed on from this world, but these famous faces still can't escape the effects of father time, thanks to the intersection of increasingly potent technology and darkly morbid curiosity

The Marylin Monroe one is ridiculous, but most of the others seem reasonable. A couple of the people died too recently for there to be much of a difference between then and now. Four or five of them I never heard of.
Keith Richards has been a walking corpse since the late 70’s.
“Keith Richards has been a walking corpse since the late 70’s.”
Yea, but he can still play guitar.

I think Janice Joplin would have been looking more rode hard and put away wet ala Keith Richards.
“Hair turns gray for one thing”
Only her hairdresser knows for sure.
I know some 80 year old women who would rather die than let *one* gray show.
Bound to be some men like that too.
My partner was like that, she was natural redhead and would never let her hair be any other color, but then again she never looked her age either.
Way too many assumptions on the aging process, and yes Marilyn’s deal was unrealistic totally. Age her to 90 and let’s see what you come up with.
It would be interesting if these people took a picture of Keith circa 1965 and aged it according to their algorithm. I bet it would be a huge fail. No algorithm would do the damage that life has done to Keith!
WTH kind of hairdo did they put on Andy Gibb? Good grief.
I wonder what Keneth Richards would look like…err…
Jim Morrison probably laughed his ass off when he saw that.
Not intentionally, back in the early 90s, I became locally known for doing portraits of older people using the only photos their families and friends had available and they were always like 40-50 years younger.
I set out to do this and was told by a local famous portrait artist that it could not be done.
So I picked up that gauntlet and studied how skin, muscles and fat change with age and did them anyway and without exception everyone said their loved looked just as they did when they knew them.
This artist is not that great at this.
Good for her, and you.
Never look older than you have to.
Elvis would weigh 350. 😏
I thought Janis Joplin looked pretty realistic.
BTW, these would look a lot better if they updated the wardrobes.
I seriously doubt 80 year old Jimi Hendrix would be wearing that 1967 getup.
Thankfully his fingers are permanently fixed into that "claw" position so that he can continue to play.
I think the old eyes are all wrong. They seem more or less the same “size” as the young pic. Most people’s eyes become more hooded with age and appear smaller.
He would probably look more like what Val Kilmer looks like now.
